In addition, Welding Coordinator programs are provided according to the International Standards for Personnel Certification ISO /IEC 17024, Certified QA/QC Welding Coordinator:
1. IWE. International Welding Engineer [IIW, EWF]
International Welding Engineers (IWE) programme, which is the highest level of Personnel Qualification, has a total duration of 448 training hours, theoretical and practical, which consists of the following modules:
Modules | Training Hours |
Welding Processes and Equipment | 95 |
Materials and welding behaviour | 115 |
Construction , Study and Material design | 62 |
Construction and Engineering Applications | 116 |
Practical | 60 |
Total | 448 |
2. IWT. International Welding Technologist [IIW, EWF]
International Welding Technologists (IWT) programme has a total duration of 369 hours theoretical and practical, which consists of the following modules:
Modules | Training Hours |
Welding Processes and Equipment | 86 |
Materials and their behaviour during welding | 96 |
Construction , Study and Material design | 44 |
Construction and Engineering Applications | 83 |
Practical | 60 |
Total | 369 |
The educational structure of all levels is similar and the courses are attended simultaneously for all participants regardless of access conditions.
3. IWS. International Welding Specialist [IIW, EWF]
The International Welding Specialist (IWS) programme has a total duration of 249 hours theoretical and practical, which consists of the following modules:
