Welding Greek Institute is the largest National Network for the transmission of knowledge and new technologies for Welding and related processes.

As the National Body for science and applications of welding technologies, it provides a network of interaction and knowledge exchange between researchers, Academic scientists from and Industry, for the dissemination of information and good practices.

In this context it has developed a network of members, as a reference center for Welding

  • The Annual membership fee is €100 for natural persons.
  • The Annual Membership Fee is €500 for a legal entity.

Welding Greek Institute, is a Civil Non-Profit Society, a full member and sole Authorized Body of the International Institute of Welding and the European Organization of Welding, Unions and Cuts.

Welding Greek Institute income is determined by the subscriptions of the members and the annual contributions of the ATBs in order to cover:

  • Annual subscription cost of the Operator to IIW & EWF.
  • Annual Cost of Body Accreditation by IIW & EWF.
  • Agency Inspection Cost by IIW & EWF.
  • Cost of inspection of ATBs by the Agency.
  • Operating expenses, technical support, communication, energy, consumables, etc.
  • Representation of the Welding Greek Institute at International Annual Technical Meetings.
  • Promotion and Advertising costs related to the Agency’s identity as ANB/ANBCC/IAMQS-ANB.

Membership Application (Natural Persons)


I have been informed about the annual membership fee of 100 euros, as well as the purposes of the Welding Greek Institute, Non-Profit Organization – www.wgi.gr - which I accept. The Welding Greek Institute is a full and exclusive member of International Institute of Welding [IIW] and European Welding Federation [EWF], and I have been informed of the above mentioned International Organizations Structure.

LABORATORIES

Welding Greek Institute has the most modern Welder Training Laboratory in Greece and Southeast Europe, with a capacity of 24 people.
