Welding Greek Institute in relation to Education.
Completion of training is a requirement in the IIW qualification system.
In order to eliminate threats to impartiality and conflict of interests during the evaluation and certification process, Welding Greek Institute has authorized an Independent Training Body (Authorized Training Body – A.T.B.) for education and training.
The approval of the Independent Training Center -ATB- to conduct and provide training services on behalf of the Welding Greek Institute, is granted after evaluation and inspection according to the criteria and requirements of the International Welding Organizations (IIW-EWF).
Based on the documented process for the approval of Authorized ATB Training Centers, relevant threats to impartiality are eliminated, so that the use of both services (training and examination/certification) would not give the impression that any advantage to the prospective applicant.
The official authorized training center of the Welding Greek Institute is the Swiss Approval Akademie.
